Thread: Flywheel Question

Hey everyone. I just had a question regarding the step on the flywheel. I looked at the stock unit I took off my 94 Se-R. The friction surface is higher than the bolt hole area. Is this right? Just curious. I was reading up about what a step is for. Road race engineering has a page up describing it on the dsm flywheels. On the dsm flywheel the friction surface is lower than the pressure plate bolt holes.
