Thread: Hard to get in gear...

That could possibly be it. I'll have to take a peek at them in the AM. I'd much rather have that be the problem than something internal of the trans.

no disagreement there! either that or maybe the bushing. hopefully it's one of those and not something drastic.

i had an issue where 2nd was hard to get into and 3rd felt in the wrong spot. i went and tightened all the bolts on the shifter and linkage it made a 100% difference in how the car shifts.

I have the same problem. randomly 1st and 2nd gear will just disappear for me. then as I am driving randomly I can shift into it smooth as butter? All other gears are perfect. I changed my mounts brand new and my shift linkage new. I believe it is my flywheel. I will check it out and update this weekend.
