Thread: car wont turn over

i pulled the bumper off for the front mount and removed the senor for the air bag off the front support went to start the car and when i turn the key over nothing happened there is power just starter wont kick over same effect as a netral safty switch but not never had any problems before air bag was removed from the wheel no fuse for bag eather fuse is fine for ignition as well anyone have ideas?

did you bump the switch by accident? they are very finicky - take the harness off and jump it with a paperclip or bobby pin. try that first.

where do i jump it?

jump the connector for the neut safety. just unplug it from the transmission sensor and it's a 2-pin connector. paperclip between the harness connector and you're done.

Same thing goes with the clutch safety. It's a switch on the clutch pedal that creates continuity. If you question that too, unplug it and bridge the 2 pins with a paperclip.
