found my post on relocating a battery. Look at the pics of the battery there. If you are in warm weather a small battery is all you need

Also 10-15lb taken away from a few places equals 100lbs...200lbs...300lbs. Every little bit counts

Uh 15lbs is 15lbs You two guys are acting like you can get weight saving from just taking one thing off the car. Thats not how it goes. To have a car thats functional (daily driver) and lightweight you have to take weight out where you can unless your gonna just strip the car but then its not a daily driver anymore.

I think you are very limited to what you are looking for in weight and how much you wanna spend.

chepa alternatives to smaller lighter-weight batteries are Honda Civic batteries and Miata batteries. other than that most lightweight performance batteries wont last that long since they're designed for sporadic startups on sunny racing weekends not for DD startups in the slushy cold.
