exedy stage 2
I have a 2001 Sentra Sr20 with a B15 trans. Have any of you guys had any experience with a exedy stage 2 because its a 3 puck and that scares me a bit! The stage 2 is also available in thick or thin disc but i think im going with thick because they said thin is recommended for track use only. My main concern is streetable with a 3 puck.Is this setup streetable even though they say its street/track use?

So what your trying to say if you have no turbo, this isnt a track car and you went with a 3 puck? Go buy a street disc and ACT pressure plate. If you are worried about breakin ur tranny wait till u hit the turbo world. I've been running a 6 puck ACT with a Heavy duty pp on a stock '93 tranny making 230whp. I've been worried about it breaking forever but its still held up, and I drive like the car like I stole it. You wont come close to breakin the tranny NA unless you do something while driving.

if ur worried about act go with something else reliable like jim wolf or exedy or even spec. i am personally a big fan of jim wolf. i have a jwt clutch and hdpp combo on my car and i love it. my brother is running one as well, his is bit stronger, capable of the high 200whp range. my cousin is running an even stronger one in a det w/ s4 cams, a disco potato, 740 cc injectors, on 20 lbs, and it runs great. despite the fact that all 3 of these jwt clutch setups are different, they all feel the same and they all engage with a near stock feel, even the turbo one. pedal pressure is near stock. from my experience, exedy is also a great clutch with several different stages. just make sure and go with something sprung.

i ran the clutch on my det for one year and it held up just fine even tho i was making like 40 more ft/lb than what it was rated to.

it was paired with a 11lb flywheel and man you had to give it some good revs off the line so it didnt chatter.
