You also cant determine all the out of calibration torque wrenches are out there, and using the incorrect torque wrench as well as human error. you should always use a torque wrench that has the torque spec right in the middle of the capabilitys, like 35 ft/lb should be done with a 5-75 torque wrench, and not a 25-100 torque wrench...they are only accurate in the middle 60 % of the torqure range. Auto tech 101 stuff here guys.
Back on topic, yes get a heli-coil or a thread insert from the hardware store, I would behove you to do AT LEAST oposing sides, if not all 6 of the bolts for the pressure plate.
