ACT HD vs. XT Pressure plate?
so i'm running about 220 and i'm going to go with ACT. I'm going to do an Organic disk from exedy and an ACT pressure plate.

So i'm debating between the HD and XT pressureplate. How much stiffer is the XT? the car is going to be a daily driver so i dont want a super stiff pedel

thanks

I never experienced the XT but I did have the HD setup. The HD still has the "stock" feel that you are probably looking for. I was very pleased with it until I started making over 250WHP and I destroyed the clutch.

HHHHMMMM Not a bad choice right there, very nice actually.

I'll be running an ACT 4 puck with Exedy PP, just lookin to hold 8-10 PSI comfortably.I don't know much about the HD ACT PP, but from what i've read it can hold some serous chet mated with the ACT street dsc.

I got the HDPP and its stiff enough I dont think XDPP will be good for daily driving unless you like leg workouts, I have not tried the XDPP but I can imagine.

I had an XT and now have an HD, but would not go back unless your power levels absolutely require it.

Ive seen quite a few people on another forum breaking their clutch cables left and right with a XT, so if you went with that I would be careful, mostly of its a daily driver.
