Cusco bar install = P/S Leak! Help!
Finally got my Cusco bar in today.

In order to do it the right way I had to disconnect the power steering line by undoing the red nut. (See picture but don't pay attention to the circle)
Now I have P/S fluid leaking from there!
I've got the nut cranked down as hard as possible but it still leaks.
Do you think if I used some liquid gasket that would solve the problem?

I'll take any help at this point in time....

Looks fairly similar.

I had to take off the PS mount that screws in by the strut tower. Then disconnect it and route it around the Strut bar, then connected it

that bolt should have a copper washer on both sides of it..........if they are there and its still leaking chances are they are are to crushed/old/distorted to seal anymore.

take the banjo bolt out and go to your local parts store and buy new copper washers that fit on there without being to loose. problem solved i garuntee it.

he already did that. his issue was with reinstallation of the power steering hose.

the b14 uses a brake fitting like setup.......flare nut.

b13 uses a banjo bolt )like the bolt that connects brake hose to caliper) and uses 2copper washers to seal it (again....like hose to caliper bolt)

That's why I just bent my **** up and moved the bracket holes over. Holds good with one bolt. Time for new washers.

beh, they are less than a dollar. and it looks good wraped around the bar like that.

and if you have an old towel or a bunch of rags, wrap it around the area just before you disconnect the banjo bolt and you wont have any clean up to worry about other than maybe wipeing off the strut bar.
