Thread: Who here is running C series JWT cams?

I always here people talking about S3 and S4. But no one ever talks about the C series cams. Anyone used the C series cams with turbo?

I was always told that the c series was best for full race N/A app?

Theyve got a few though. Are they all for N/A? Anyone have info on that?

Yeah but Im not looking for a street freindly car. Im looking to make the most power out of this turbo setup that I have.

Ive read you have to put in springs and retainers for them. But other then that all im getting is hearsay

(From what I remember) Back when they first came out C1's were the mildest and supposedly good for a hardcore turbo setup. IIRC C2's, and C3's both had too long of an opening and would do more harm than good with a boosted setup. I know all 3 did require springs and retainers.

Good read. I wonder how much more the C1's make on a turbo car compared to the S4's. I mean sure ill lose some more low end. But the car is boosted. You cant really lose that much low end with my mid sized turbo. It also said the C1's idle BETTER then the S4s!

A good friend of mine ran them in his nitrous car. The car on the spray was an animal and NA it ran great. Never heard of anyone running them while on boost.

C1 cams work great on boost. S4s work way better and hold the power longer.

S3 should not even be talked about anymore.

C2 cams on very big turbos.


S4 cams hands down best turbo cam ever in my humble opinion
