Thread: Low profile hood vent?

So I have been thinking about my under hood temps even before my car went down. And I haven't been able to find a low profile hood vent. I would like something that has a little bit of a scoop that vents out towards the wind shield. Anyone know an online place that has a good selection of the type I'm looking for?

i did the evo 8 hood vent on mine. Its very low profile and does an awesome job of keeping underhood temps down bigtime, I put it right above my turbo and manifold towards the front of the hood. You can come across them on partouts and ebay every now and then for around $60 or so. Just take your time cutting the hood and make a template out of cardboard or something first to make sure it fits in properly.

if i were to do it I would get a wrx hood scoop. very low profile, and looks nice.

Would look good with both sides done as they will come out even. Thats pretty cool indeed. Love it.

Only issue is that B14 don't have such kick ass under hoods as that.
