Thread: B13 A/C compressor same as B14?

title is question, is the b14 lowport a/c compressor the same as a b13 highport

IIRC yes/no. Don't quote me but the diff. is in the piping. The bracket's the same.

There were like 6 different compressors used on the B13/P10 engines, each with a slightly different bolt pattern. I am unsure, however, if all of the mounting points on the engine are any different (meaning that if you have the mounting bracket for the new one, it might still bolt up). Don't buy anything before you make sure it will line up.

Yeah there could be many different compressors around. I have with me a B14 and a B13 and they are different. They both use different lines and even the connector "switch" is different. I tried to run a B13 A/C set up in my B14 and I had no success. I could have done something wrong or who knows. But yeah they are different.
