abs question
I have a 95 g20 that it sounds like{ just started tonight} the abs pump wants to keep running. I did a good search, almost a hour of looking on here and g20.net. My question is, on here it seems you guys are pulling the relay next to the abs hardlines? If so what fuse/relay or both? G20 says repair it... im out of work and dont want to replace costly abs parts when id rather disable it if this is a option. I know this can be accoplished on the sentras. I know it will go to a non abs mode but i want the pump or whativer that little buzzing/fan noise is to stop. Thanks for the help in advnace

You should throw all abs parts out.

Well i would but at the current time i dont have the funds for all the replacement parts, i just wanted to know whether to pull both relays or just one or the other.

From what I know, you could pull any of the relays or fuses, and it will appear "out of order" and will shut off. The ABS light should come on but the brakes will function as a regular braking system. I have had an issue with my ABS since last spring and it's one of the front sensors.. still brakes great, so I never bothered to fix it.

Thanks for the answer phor, actually i read on g20 to honestly thump the box next to the hardlines. It fixed it...lol. Light is off and pump is not running constantly....lol. I love agressive maintenance. Brakes have always worked fine. Most of the system is new.

Nice Magoo. Glad it worked out for you man. We call it Puerto Rican magic, cuz around here it's all us PRs that do things of that nature. I like aggressive maintenance better though.
