Go big or go home

Are you planning on doing it on NA or FI car? I doubt you would see any gains that justify the cost for NA. Intake will do you better.

How big is the TB on the cobalt and how big did it become when bored?

im planning on running n/a in the car for a few months while i build the suspension and other supporting mods. so im basicly setting it up for boost i allready have a intake in the car.

i belive the cobalt was about a 1.5-2mm boar and im not sure about the stock size.

Can you still run your stock ecu with this mod?

Yup, it's not the MAF so no problems there.

my only problem with a big boar is the throttle plate would be too small im thinking maybe boaring it out about 1 - 1.5mm and polishing it out for a nice smooth flow

when a tb is bored out a bigger throttle plate is put in.

there is a big diffrence between a bored tb and a polised tb where they dont change the plate. Polished tb are a waste of time.

My bored 60mm tb is for a high port motor. The throttle plate shaft was also put on a lathe and cot down also,I am selling it for $125.
