Isn't the TC about $1000 by itself?

I was going to go that route (level 10 or IPT), but realized a 5speed was MUCH cheaper.

Anybody know much about transgo? I had a p11 lsd unit with performance shift kit, solenoid group and master rebuild kit installed.

For guys with over 300whp an auto would be able to run quicker ets than a 5spd. The only problem is getting it o hold the power. The hot ticket would be to use a vq35 5spd auto or the 4spd. With just a shift kit they have been able to hold 400wtq during drag racing.

I had an auto in my car, it couldn't handle a t25 on stock boost, I installed a trans oil cooler but it didn't help. Full throttle through shifts caused a very loud "bang" and the car would just shut off. I had to go to about 1/2 throttle when it was about to shift to avoid it. The car got tons faster once I got the manual trans in.

For a full time drag car, a auto is 100% faster than any stick. You will never be able to out

shift a auto. Also as stated it's extremely expensive for a built auto for the SR to handle

"drag car" whp specs. If i could get a built auto to handle say 600+whp for the same price

as a p11 trans i would take the auto hands down over the stick any day.

In a video Mike K had a sequential gearbox in his red sentra B13. I wonder how much he paid to have that installed.

Good Day - i have a sr20vvl fwd and recently re-installed an automatic transmission from the sr18. Are there rebuild kits for this application to make it stronger ? been searching all over and nothing

For complete transmission upgrade or torquw converters you have level10.com and import performance transmission iirc. Transgo also makes valvebody upgrades. Nissan Reprogramming Kits
