^Get the kind from advance auto parts. I used the caliper paint. I put about 3 coats of primer on my tranny's before I painted them though.

You can use any paint you want so long as it isn't that walmart sh*t brand. Krylon, rustolium, duplicolor are just a couple of good names right now. The best finish product also has alot to do with the prep job, just taking your time and sanding the case will make the paint look and last so much longer.

Nice, look like we are doing the same thing. I just replace my tie rods and ball joints too and the new axles will go in once the engine and tranny are back in.

I found out quickly that I can't rush the cleaning. I have to remove and reinstall each bolt and sensor so I get it all. Thanks for the input.

Anything that's up to the temps of a raced engine should be fine. I'd look for something that can handle high oil temps or higher. Anything rated above 260°F should be good. I you really want to be baller do aluminum etching primer before the paint.

I used this: http://www.sr20-forum.com/members-rides/554-benfenners-1994-black-se-r-36.html#post318821
