Well, where did you purchase the clutch? Did you buy it new? Did you get a receipt? If you bought it used, then you would definitely be SOL. It's kinda like trying to get a part warranteed through a store. If you're not the original owner or have the original receipt, it's kinda hard to prove to them you purchased the part from them.

I've never had a problem with my competition clutches, and I've only used the six puck sprung clutch set-up they got.

springs come out, it is a fact of life. You either need to be careful on the shifts and launch, or get a disc unsprung.

The best stock disc I have seen is the SR16VE disc. It does not have springs, it has rubber damners that can not come out.

The SR16VE disc is a B15 disc with rubber dampners instead of springs. I have used them in some cars already with no problems.

Interesting. I wonder what kind of power the disc will hold before self destructing? I know the PP is really the determining factor, but the disc still has to have a bit to do with it...

Yeah you should ALWAYS replace the T/O bearing and esp. the clips, as they are usually rusted or broken already.

Never a problem with Competition here either, hopefully it was an isolated incident
