Fuel Lines
Does Nissan have a proprietary size for fuel lines, specifically the two in the rear of the vehicle connecting the fuel pump to the rigid metal lines leading to the front of the vehicle? Also the lines inside the tank itself are oddly sized. The lines themselves dont have any size designation other than '1704' and '2106.' 2106 is the marking on the lines inside the fuel tank connecting to the fuel pump assembly.

Ive measured the fuel lines with a caliper and they dont come up anywhere close in a standard size measurement. Metric and AN sizes are close but off a bit.

Im trying to refurbish the fuel tank and fuel lines on my NX and Id like to go with something that will stand up better to whatever garbage (ethanol?) is in the fuel that is leaving 'crap' in my tank. I was thinking teflon lines.

Thanks.

I pulled the two fuel lines that go from the tank to the metal lines and took them in to Autozone and they found an inner diameter match. They are a bit thicker, so the line protector won't slide over easily, so that's the only hitch I had. They are not teflon, however. But they are a "normal" size so if you can find teflon ones in regular sizes, chances are they'll fit.
