Thread: Autozone radiator hoses suck

Found a pin size hole in my upper radiator hose. Went to autozone to pick up a new one, and it doesn't even fit right. I'm returning this and going to Nissan, $20.90 for a upper radiator hose from Nissan.

Most of the Autozone rad hose have an extra 2-3" on the end that needs to be trimmed off. At least this has been my experience with them and when I worked there part time.

Get silicone ones for $50.

They are called trim to fit yet they never actually fit right. Most times you can get them to work though. O.E. is only 20 bucks, whats the problem?

I agree with all of you that OEM or silicone is the way to go. Buy it once and be done with it.

Autozone everything sucks. End of story.

I did cut it down, but it still doesn't fit right. Actually $20 isn't much money at all, I guess I was being dramatic. It's not a big deal. I'm just going to return this autozone piece and go with Nissan.
