New 949 Racing 6ULR Wheel
Here a few pictures of the new 6ULR wheel made by 949 Racing. Currently they only make the wheel in a 5x100 bolt pattern and in 17's. I emailed Emilo at 949 Racing asking them if they would consider making this wheel in a 15 x 7 if not a 15 x 8 with a nice offset for us SE-R guys. I am still waiting on his replay but, I am just curious on who would be interested in this wheel so that I can show him that there is come interest.

I think this wheel looks great. I like it a lot more than the 6UL wheel.

That would be nice in a 15x8 for a b13... I really like them. I would love it if they made a 16x8 as well... b14's look awesome with 16x8's

The 16 X 8 would be very nice.

What is normal price range for these? $150?

These were specifically designed for the S2000 guys. I talked to Emilio yesterday regarding something in 4x114 (looking for wheels for the G) and he said he would have a run of wheels coming late summer in that lug pattern. There are currently 6ul version 2 wheels on preorder available at this time. Silver, Bronze, Black, and Nickel are all available for preorder as of today. 15x8 +36 4x100 which is perfect for B13s

BTW here's a link to the difference between 6ul & 6ulR:

Its made in 5x114.3 and 5x100. They are one of the few proper offset wheels for us S2000 guys.

16" wheels are a goofy size, with not a whole lot of tire options.

They already make the 15x8 in the 6UL, which i think is a better looking wheel.

They will be introducing a new wheel to compete with Tire Racks line, called the XTR. These will be offered in 15x7-9, with offsets that are suitable for SE-Rs. They will also offer them in 4x114.3 for all of the P10/P11 guys.

Pricing is set for 89-109 depending on wheel width.

Interesting info.

I am a fan of this 6ULR. I hope they make it in a 15 inch wheel.

I just ordered a set of original 6UL wheels, I gotta wait on them until first of March when

they start shipping them out, but as far as these new wheels go I'm not too big of a fan

of them, they look alot like the factory G35 wheels. They should sell good though.

949 is my favorite wheel company right now because they make great race quality wheels for niche marques and they are priced extremely well. They are actively engaging in communities and giving them exactly the fitment they want.
However with their 6UL offerings I don't see a reason for them to make a 6ULR for us. I believe as far as they are concerned they are basically the same wheel just beefed up for the 17" diameter. If they were to make a 15" version they'd probably trim it down some and then you'd be left with a 6UL again. I believe in their minds there would be no reason to make such a wheel. Obviously there is a visual difference, and if they want to cater to that market need then don't let me get in your way.

Their new wheel introductions and bolt pattern options are certainly keeping my attention. I maintain that if these wheels existed back when I bought wheels I'd have picked them over my Panasports.
