For my car 200sx ser one rear caliper is $99 from advance auto, pads are $40 and rotors are I think $70 a piece so that's around $280 if you do it yourself it should only take an hour and a half at the max especially if you get the vacuum bleeder($20) and flare nut wrenches($11) at harbor freight tools, I just made the cheapest jack stands ever at home depot using cinderblocks and plywood $11 for 4 "stands" now that's a deal

Even if the other caliper wasn't "overworked" it makes sense to have two new calipers so that they both work as well as the other. At the shop I work at I would replace both rear calipers with loaded calipers, rotors, and flush the brake fluid. Easily $550 or more...

Very true. Calipers, in my opinion, are one of those things you should do in pairs. Just like shocks, struts, or new tires.

I also agree, that is why I said that is the only way I would do it at work. I don't ever use loaded calipers because they come with crap pads & I don't want people coming back with noise issues.
