Coolant Guage Problem
I am having a weird coolant problem and not sure what it is. My car takes a while to warm up and when it does it doesnt reach the half way mark. But problem is when it is at around the half way mark and i press the gas and go the guage starts going lower. So everytime i move the guage goes down. I thought it was probably the thermostat but i changed it and still the same prob. Im pretty sure both of the thermostats arent bad. do you guys have any suggestions to what it could be? thanks guys

Check that out, do all the testing and checking described in there, then reply with your progress, what you found out, and any other info.

If you don't test what I thoroughly explain in there, I may come down harsh on you.

In that case, you'd probably do well to ask in the VE section. I don't own a VE, but the guys that do tend to hang around the VE section.

I can tell you up and down how the cooling system works and what can cause it to do what you describe. If you've convinced yourself it's a VE thing, ask the VE guys. They might know about it.

This is the critical info we're missing. Nobody with this issue seems to be able to get a degree reading from their cooling systems. Heck, there might not be a problem. That might just be the way it runs.
