Low port exhaust cam to High port head?
I swapped heads from low to high port. And I already had the high port intake cam installed. But since swapping.. will the low port exhaust work on the high port head?

It will work

I know early lowports shared the same exhaust cam as the high ports, but I don't know about the 99.

In general all non RR and VE cams work in SR20DE(T) cars.

Edit: Sorry this was vauge. RR and VE cams are the only ones that are not interchangeable on the rest of the SR motors.

Your cam swap will be fine Wayne . But a ve cam doesn't work in a se , det . or rr motor.

Scarier yet, I know of a roller rocker motor running Hydraulic JWT S3 cams "just fine" and seeing redline all the time

I have personally seen RR cams in a turbo lowport and highport head revving to 8k perfectly fine for 20k miles. Looked at the cams and rockers after the head lifted and there was absolutely no excess wear.

I have also seen in the same car a RR head with BC VE valve springs with a combination of BC stg 2 intake cam and stg 3 exhaust cam rev to 8k for 15k miles just fine. He over revved the motor above 9k at the track and threw the rollers in a few spots, but of course that would happen with any lowport/highport with stock valvetrain.
