Ebay Header... Crappy JOB!
Well my story starts here... My other SSAC 2" DP went to crap.. Well the flex pipe did. After finding out that it would cost more to have it fix then get a new header and 2.5" DP. I got the the new one. And found this issue today. Main problem was that it would just not line up. Once I got the 2 end studs simi lined up to see what I could find. This is what I found.

The drilling for the studs where off like 1/4" of an inch. So I ended up haveing to bore out every hole to 1/2" which was complete bull****. And I know someone will state that you get what you pay for. So before that happends... this is the exact same design. And happends to be from the exact same selling I got the 2" from. Another thing was the bolts and nuts that came with the header. Thread wise didn't even match up. So I ended up useing the old nuts and bolts.

See for yourself. Sorry for the crappy BB pics.

I thought this issue was common knowledge? The flange on almost all of the 2.5" headers are not correct.

We all had to do the same thing.

Yeah I had to bore mine out too. Thank God I did it at my buddys' garage and he had a drill press. To this day I haven't got the EGR tube to line up correctly. Why they mounted the EGR bung at an akward angle is beyond me.

I had to notch the two end holes when I did mine now that you reminded me.
