Hey Brett,, I X's 4 on the synthetic. my Nx2000 has 177,987 on , MOBIL 1 in it only. and my NX1600 has 224,788 on it (CASTROL synthetic) ..
and I've NEVER had any problems or LEAKS at all.. the reason people develope leaks is
1. TO heavy of grade,ex: if your car calls for 5w30 and you put 10w40 you may cause blow by,(means your rings or valve ceats are gone)..
2. OVER FILL <<<<---- will cause a LEAK everytime on high milege motors..
KEEP IN MIND ONCE YOU GO FULL SYNTHETIC you can NEVER GO BACK.. NOW THATS HARMFUL,,
if your motor don't use or leak , yes I would start using it but stay wiht the weight your car calls for.....
