Can't tell if you are joking or not, but yes the pulling the lifters and bleeding them is the same procedure as a fwd.

After returning from a drive last week a heard a rattling noise coming from under my valve cover (NO ITS NOT A SPUN BEARING I HAVE SPUN MANY A BEARING AND KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THAT SOUNDS LIKE) I'm gonna try and find a set of RR lifters and get them changed. Thanks for that link dude.

DURING GAME POST!

Well i was able to get to these on sat. And it was really very easy. I ended up useing an old RX bottle. And getting them out was easy. A pair of needle nose pliers help get some grib. With oil on them it was not easy to get a hold of. And I also noticed that when in the old with the Alan wrench in the lifter hole some times the ball on the inside wouldn't move. But when I move the Alan wrench around a little it broke loose. Pumped it up and down until there were no more air bubbles and it slip right back into the hole of the header.

Any questions PM me.

How do I know when they are bled. I finally got a 24" socket for my cam gears and ended up pulling out all the lifters tonight. I tried spqueezing on them with my fingers but they dont budge are they supposed to. I'm going to check that link posted above and see if I can gather any more information.

nevermind dude I put a small allen key in the hole on top of the lifter and it started moving effortlessly now. I almost broke my fingers earlier trying to push down on it and nothing but as soon as I used the allen key all was well. I'm feeling great right about now. I think I'm gonna tackle my cometic metal headgasket and golden eagle head stud installation lol.

lol ok i just realized that they are not supposed to be moving when I take them out which means that I only had 2 lifters that had air in them and needed to be bled cause only 2 of them was moveable when I took them all out oh boy what a learning process thank goodness for that link up top and the videos that were in that link. I'm wasted now i'll fininsh this up later when and if i wake up.

Done and done. I just finished this up and guess what no more loud arse diesel truck sounding motor for me YIIIIPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to drive my baby again today this **** has been down for like 2 weeks now THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS THREAD AND THIS FORUM!!!!!!!!!! Also wayne post number 20 thanks a great deal for posting that link man. But on another is there a way without using the greddy rocker arm stoppers to prevent those ****s from popping off? This happened to me twice no with no major damage but its really beginning to be a pain in the ass.

Glad it worked... And for what you said about they didn't move. They should move, but you know if they have been bled when you pump them and no air comes out. If there are no bubbles then you are good. I know some of mine didn't move until I moved the Alan Wrench around a little more. Then it kinda broke loose. But if it doesn't make any noise once you start up then you should be all good.

Rocker arm stoppers I would recommend just for a piece of mind.

Glad to hear everything helped. Good luck.
