Thread: b14 gxe idles down or dies when put in gear

Any ideas?? Auto, ga16de. Torque converter possibly?

Found out a couple more things with this problem. It seems to do it only when it very cold out. Today, I went to leave the house without really letting the car warm up and went to back up and it died immediately. I tried to restart and it wouldn't fire. I let the car sit a couple hours and went out to try it again, this time I got halfway out of the driveway, spun the tires in the snow and when I put it in drive to pull back up it died and would not restart...
