Weird Throttle Problem Has Me Befundled and Stumped..
Got this issue with my b14....heres the smptoms...it only happens at highway cruising speeds...between 70-85....basically what happens is..when I have m gas peddle down..in 5th gear...my throttle just like closes it seems....the peddle would depressed...under a steady load...then the car will just stop accelerating...as if I took my foot off the peddle...thougt it was a tps...changed it...didn't happen for a whole..but happened tonight...changed maf...regrounded...I'm stumped..maybe ecu related?....

TPS went bad again?

Hows your gas mileage lately? Stuck injector? Ignition components could be wearing out and you just don't notice it until when the engine really needs to make power and it just can't. Hows your spark plugs looking? Wires?

Definitely use the multimeter on the TPS. We had a similar problem in my friends car (but it happened in all gears). We tried 3 different TPS's which we just sorta set-up by eye, and apparently it didn't work. While it was really close, it just wasn't right. Make sure it's as close to .40v as possible with no throttle.

Also, I have seen fuel pumps be inconsistent with problems. Might look into that as well.
