Clutch/cable question
This is regarding my G20, not the red car.
I've been through a lot with clutches and cables, but I'm not yet too sure what to think, here. Typically, when a clutch cable or clutch lever is about to break, the engage point gets lower to the floor (cable stretching). What does it mean when the engage point gets higher and higher?
Ever since Fall, the engage point has been rising up on me. It got to a point where it was so high, the clutch wouldn't fully engage and would slip in every gear. The adjustment screw was so tight, it took me about 30-min to get it adjusted back down. I got it at a medium height, and decided I needed it lower (I like a low clutch petal feel), I adjusted it more, once again, very tight. Got it to exactly where I like it. About a week later, I can feel it creeping up on me.
Am I about to lose my clutch/TOB? The clutch, TOB, and cable are only about 3 years old.
