I would take the $$$ and put that towards N1 cams. Neither of those mods in the thread topic will help you at this point in your build/modifying..

As for the N1 low lobes... I'm not an expert, but I believe they are very similar to the regular SR20VE low lobes so you're absolutely fine there. You can putt around all day long on those things and get great drive-ability and fuel economy.

yea i dont have a laptop but i have a few friends who do i cant wait to start learning some new stuff!

thanks ben, you have made up my mind

AFPR is so easy/cheap. +2-3psi and the top end gets a nice little bump. You can do that and the timing in 3-5 dyno rips. Sure its inelegant but the laptop route is much more tedious and expensive.

N1 cams would respond well to cam gears but if I were you I'd be ordering my SSAC right now.

ya im gettin the ssac for sure, gotta ditch the hot shot.. also gettin a zeitronix wide band, some sort of real time ecu beit calum or nistune, kinda hopin for the calum rtv2.. but at the same time kinda would like to try the nistune.. then theres motor mounts, thinkin bout a lighter flywheel..

All good things. The ssac has an extra pre-cat bung that is perfect for a wideband. Only I would use the one at the dyno and leave it there. You don't need to own a wideband imo. you only need a buddy who owns one.

Engine mounts on the other hand. Get ready for some pain with your prothanes. I have a spare set of B13 mounts you can use to have them pressed in so its a straight swap. If you want them lemme know. It will be a lot easier.

well the reason i want a wideband is so i can keep an eye on things, and learn how to tune.. unfortunately im the biggest car guy in my group, i have one other buddy with a damn near stock se-r but thats about it..

might take you up on your offer with the mounts tho, where would be a good place to have the new stuff pressed in?

I agree with Ben, if you have a tunable ECU you do not need the AFPR. Changing the K value is the same as changing the fuel pressure, only more precise and repeatable. Get the cam gears.

Also, the N1 low cam lobes are more aggressive than the stock SR20VE cams, so you might need to tune your fuel map in lower RPM regions.

if you only have enough $$$ for 1 of those, think about how much it will cost to get dyno time to tune those cam gears for the best possible gain???
