Who would be interested in 3 piece front end?
Hoping this "feeler" thread is ok to start here.
I am working with a local guy who has the ability to create 3piece front ends. I have been in contact with him as of late concerning the design and production of 3 piece front ends for the B13. He is very adamant that if I can generate interest his shop can create the product.
I don't want to set anything in stone here yet, as this is still in the stage of how many folks will be interested. We agreed that a minimum of 10 willing to make down payments would be reasonable before we go forward with making the mold.
I don't know if this is at all possible, but if it is I would love to get these made for our community. Chances are it won't ever get off the ground but thats just how it works.
Now the mold will be created to the specs those will want. However I would assume most would want a fender that will clear a 26-27inch slick.
As for the front, a closed or open option will be designed into the piece.
It will be available in white or black, and he mentioned if some are interested in having a lip molded in that is completely possible.
So for those of you not familiar with fiberglass three pieces, I am expecting to get a decent price out of these, hopefully under $1000. Again this depends on the amount of interest.
Serious buyers only here. Do NOT post if you cannot even afford this. Please.
Production time would not take more then a few months if this gets off the ground.
