Why take the trans off? I talked with Joel about it and I think we have a cable related issue. That only takes a few minutes to diagnose. If it's not the cable then yah, pull the tranny. 30 minute job on a lift.

Stop buying aftermarket cables they suck.

Buy Nissan Cables and they will last for a long time.

If not you might need one of my tranny bracket to help out with the leverage.

I think right now it could really be the cable but it is a OEM. It may be the wrong one because it seems awefully long in the wrong place. Where the cable has the black rubber cover it is longer than the one we took off. We even had to move the bracket to the holes that are closer to the front of the car to hook it onto the T/O bearing arm. I'm told him to grab another cable so we can try that first.

Joint rolling now Put in a new OEM cable (THanks classicaddict) Naghebe and I dropped the trans and the past installer put the clips on wrong , 1 was sitting beside the flywheel all chopped up. Put in another T/O bearing with cliups (Thanx Jenc) Car running and shifting good now

Get Andreas clutch cable bracket anyway. Are you able to get adjustment in the cable without pushing the cable back? I vow to use OEM PP as long as I need it. JWT PP sucks balls. BIG TIME. I want an OEM type PP set up if I decide to go with more power

Hey Pretty White I'm running the JWT set up right now and so far so good. I have the tranny saving bracket myself but I'm not sure he needs it. I think his problem was solely related to the installation of his clutch last time around. I think the clips were put on wrong or the T/O bearing arm was moved forward to far during installation causing the clip to come loose/bind thus limiting the back and forth action of the arm. He said the clutch used to be mad stiff and he has an exedy stage 2, now that I installed it (shaddy tree professional SeRvice ) it's back to normal. Which leads me to believe the installation went foul the last time out.

Glad you guys knocked it out. I'm heading back to the shop today to work on the gauges real quick and then button up the car. May as well replace the water neck with the temp sender waterneck too.
