Thread: what model nissan trucks accept the sr20 ?

hey guys.

just looking into a few things, i know the hardbodys take em. and i would assume that any nissan pick up that comes with a ka24 in them would accept the sr20.

im really hoping that say a frontier or something with airbags could have a sr20.

id do a search but my comp is a piece and i can barely even get on google etc..

I'm pretty sure the older Frontiers accept the SR20. I think there was a member here or on the other forum that had a build thread for his swap into an older Frontier.

I think even a few early model frontiers came with the KA, I'm sure if u can fabricate the motor mounts anything is possible....

Ill do a little search and find out

1998-2004 Frontiers had the KA24DE

I think it was only up until 2000. But I could be wrong



Edit* wow that motor stuck around for a long time,lol. Up until 04 they were used in xterras and the frontier

when i think of nissan hardbody mini trucks,and sr20det....i think of this...

And its also very ugly!

That's still a hardbody, iv wanted to do that swap for a while. But then I bought another B14 to put a VE in it. So maybe next time
