Well I got a coolant leak behind the motor.. time to get dirty...
I Just glanced back there today as i heard it pissing out and hitting the exhaust after i got home and shut it off.

Its coming from the underside of the intake somewhere (i have a highport)
IIRC there is a big coolant line back there somewhere, I guess I wont really know until I crawl under the car tomorrow.

ANyone have any ideas on this?

could be :

Heater Hoses, the hoses to the TB, or the big hose from the water pump under the Intake Manifold. if its that one, good luck

Not all that bad.. jack the car up and check the hose going to the head/block area. Most likly it's a hose gone bad. Usual issue.

Yep. I have/had that same issue except on a lowport. I put the car on the lift and saw dried coolant around the hose clamp area, so I just tightened it down for now. I'm not pissing out any coolant, anymore (for now!)

Yea... Those Oem Nissan clamps work good but if they aren't tight enough it sucks. But those rubber hoses aren't ment to last for ever. That's for sure.

I plan on replacing them and whatever other hoses I can with Samco silicone hoses. I've found out quickly that my hoses don't like cold temperatures I had no idea the car would react to extended cold weather like this!

Where do you get the hoses from? I'm in the middle of head work and just put the tube on. I would like to replace those hose's also. I don't see our car's listed?

My friend's distributor is Motovicity. You can go to silhoses.com though and they have a list of other distributors.

Options Auto Salon carries them as well.

You can order the RNN14 Coolant hoses for the upper/lower coolant hoses. As far as heater hoses, you may want to talk with Greg V? Or with DC Scotty.

Mishimoto also makes coolant hoses for us, but I don't know if they're the 2 piece hose kits, or 4-5 piece hose kits. They're cheaper than Samco Sport as well, and offer them in Black, Blue, or Red.

Mishimoto Silicon Hose Kit - Nissan Sentra (91-99) FestiveGarage - Racecar Parts for Cheap, Not Cheap Racecar Parts!

Just a link I clicked on. Pretty cheap for a hose kit, may want to call someone and make sure that it's both front hoses, and the rear hoses too.

I had to replace this hose. It was an absolute nightmare. Hardest thing I've ever done on the car so far. There's no room back there. I should have removed the intake manifold before hand and attacked it from the top. Good luck.

Here are silicone hoses for $15 bucks from gspec. Here's the link:

Have fun!
