And the drain plug is on the drivers side of the transmission and it also has a square cutout in it you can use a 3/8 rachet on the fill and a 1/2 drive rachet on the drain .

All you guys using a 3/8 ratchet on the fill plug; I don't know how you do it. I tried that a long time ago and it ruined the fill plug (it's not the right size). You're all luckier than I am.

well i got it but the only problem is that i ordered an axle from gspec and got it installed and that axle boots are massivly leaking grease. the grease is just oozing out... so now i have to call greg and send it back and all and try to get a new one. this sucks.

A 3/8 ratchet does work on the fill plug... but i get what your saying, it feels like its gonna strip.

Ive cut up a pop can and wrapped the aluminum around the ratchet a few times. Works like a charm if I ever feel like doing it.

I've never had a problem with the fill/check plug. What I found helps, though, is that I use anti-seize on the bolt when re-installing it. Just a superlight coat and you don't have nearly the amount of force taking it back out. Still seals just fine, and doesn't back itself off.

If you can't find/afford Redline MT-90, yes.

trouble I'm having out here, most my shops are only carrying GL-5. It's considerably tough to find a local carrier for anything else.

Agreed. Almost all of us order Redline fluids online as we can't find it local.
This is the popular place to buy it: Go Fast Depot - Redline MT90 Synthetic Manual Transmission Gear Oil
