Why won't this work on any sr20de??

It probably will, they just don't categorize it the way you'd expect. Or maybe they are lazy. Or maybe they want to make the newbs extra sure they are getting the right part because it says it's specific to their make/model and year (when in reality it would fit all SR20DE engines).
