the car started(lower vacume on the intake was off,or so i think that was the problem) i drove it around the block i started to speed up and it shut down and will not start. im ready to set the damn thing on fire

did you by any chance check the fuel pressure?

I suggest checking the codes, there might be something really simple you're missing here. Codes are the #1 thing to check when you're having troubles, and you don't need a scanner to check them. You can get them from the flash sequence the CEL will give out.

Well i got it running again, this time I replaced the vacume line that goes to the Fuel Pressure Regulator. So far so good
