Tail light questions
I recently ordered a set of film from tearoffguy on the forums and wanted to do up my tail lights. I painted them a while ago but it started to fade. What's the safest way to remove the paint from the tail lights without damaging them? I was also looking into getting LED bulbs for both inner and outer tail lights. Would I need resistors for them? I've heard yes and no, I just want to be sure.

What LED bulbs you plan on going with? I'm interested in getting some for my ride.

I dunno, I've been looking at some on ebay. They're like $3 a piece.

Brakelight LEDs are fine. You need a resistor for turn signals, or they do the 'fast' blink. With the wrong resistance, the car thinks the bulb is burned out.

It won't burn the plastic? I've heard that thinner might do that.

My dad said that it might after I already did it but it never burned anything in my experience. I've used it on headlights, turn signals, and I used it on my friends tailights on his accord.

Btw, those ebay led bulbs are complete garbage. They really look like crap and they don't wanna fit in the bulb socket right. Get good bulbs.

What you suggest for bulbs? I'm not looking to spend crazy dough on bulbs.

That is a question I don't have an answer for. After I bought the ebay ones and they didn't work, I didn't really bother trying to get anything else. I just know the bulbs I got from ebay sucked.
