Oil Pump or main bearings?
Just look at the pressure fully warmed.
Every couple of months I get a dry start and I have to blip the throttle to get the marbles to dissapear. The dipstick could still read full.
I am going thru a quart every 1000 miles. Anyone else change an oilpump with success?
At cold start the pressure is up, but once the oil car warms up there is virtually 0 pressure at the guage.
Sorry for the not so steady hand, but NY roads are rough!
