The bolt pattern is different.

yes it can, not much difference.

As long as you have acces to a drill press you can easily adapt the bolt pattern to work

I assume you want to be dealing with a low port head, right?

They fit well on a high port head with little bolt pattern slotting.

Is the GTIR intake manifold set up way better than the DE intake manifold. will it make more power on a DE.

Well if you are un aware its an itb set up. As far as how much better it does on an all motor de I have no idea

Reedom,

If you spend a few hours working on your DE manifold you can significantly improve its flow.
Invest in a non-ferrous deburr tool and some sandpaper drums, and really port out the manifold. Main things to look for are proper matching on mating surfaces and removing casting imperfections.

But getting back to the original question, some time on the drill press will make it work

I know its ITB but I am trying to find proof to see if it is worth the $ and the effort. exactly what I quoted from you in bold. I know in theory it should be better but how much better?

Cool Dan. Thanks. Always heard about porting the intake and exhaust manis but wasnt sure if it justified the $ or effort and never wanted to do it and then it went wrong and messed up the flow. like if I ported it out too much.
