Thread: Sr20det Rod Bolts

im new to the sr20det engine and many have told me that the OEM rod bolts stretch when running higher boost (15 lbs boost) ... they say that you need to replace with good ARP bolts and new rod bearing to prevent spinning rod bearings later ...... my question to you guys is can the rod bolts be changed without removing rod and pistons and taking to have rods resized because guys around where i live say there shouldnt be any problem just changing out the rod bolts
appreciate any information you can give so i dont make any stupid mistakes ( i have built several engines but all domestic)
