or just get rid of the whole pump and put a 25" belt on. Thats what I did.

just pul it alllll off...go to napa get a 25 inch 3 rib belt....muscle it one from crank pulley to water pump pulley. then ur done.... ive got a belt part number somwhere...and my PS lines are open for over a year now and no prblems whatsi ever...this is on a b13

put the belt all the way on the cranke pulley...ten try to strecth what you can over the WP pulley....then if you have a friend round have them manuly turn the crank pulley with a bigass socket/ratchet and try to guide the belt on... a small amount of oil,i mean very very lil,enought to lube the belt to convince it to go on might help...ive done this like 3 times trying to find the right size belt and im positive 25 inches is correct

so here are my belt part number that i used for my power steering delte withour a tensioner or idelr pulley

---1st attempt, NAPA 4 RIB BELT,v-ribbed belt,(too much slack and squealed as it rubbed the block,DONT USE THIS BELT UNLESS THE BLOCK IS GRINDED DOWN)

2nd attempt,NAPA 3 RIB BELT, MIRCO-V,this belt worked as it didnt rub the block and squeal like the first try

would it be a different belt to use if i have the UR pulleys

yes. Ive tried finding a belt when I had the Gspec Pulley and stock crank and a belt is not available for that combo off the shelf.
