Need IACV help
Anyone know which one of these is the wrong one? Or will either one work?

(The one that came off of the car is on the left)

(One that came off the car is on the bottom)

The one on the left is obviously the correct one, but since you already know it came from your car I don't understand the question. The second one looks like it operates differently but you could just try it?

I thought about trying it, but didn't want to get it all the way in there just to have to take it out again. (pain in the ass) Was told it was a highport IACV from the guy I purchased it from...

Edit: I don't know if the one that came off of the motor in the car is the right one because it is a JDM motor.

Not like any highport IACV I've ever seen. Could it actually be a lowport? I don't know what they look like so someone else will have to answer. The one on the left is the highport version and I'm sure of that much.

Think I'm just gonna try it. Even if it doesn't work I'm sure the car won't idle any worse than it is now.

It came off my highport motor. It was working when I pulled it off. Im using Robj80's blockoff plate now for simplicity reasons.

Interesting. The first half of the part number on the sticker matches what courtesy parts shows on their website. I'm not upset Nighthog, just curious.

No worries. Hope everything works out. BTW- have you checked your AIV yet?

Already swapped it out too. Just fired it up and it seems to have helped, although probably needs to be adjusted a bit. I'll take it around the block and get her nice and warm, then do some adjusting of the idle.

Seems to idle better, although it still hunts around a bit.

Anyone else have or had an issue with the idle dropping to around 1k as you press the clutch in to come to a stop. Then just before the car stops, the idle raises back up to around 1,400. Then after you stop, it settles down slowly to where it should be? (850)

Edit: This didn't fix what I was trying to fix. The car won't idle high like it's supposed to when you first start it up cold. It will raise up to around 1,400 when you first start it , then settles down to around 1k immediately after. That seems a bit low to me.
