The Pacesetter is a nice one as is the TWM.
Im using a stock shifter with the pivot moved up and IMO it feels the best with the ES bushings.
I think I want to try a little something different than the B&m shifter .....has anyone ever heard of the Twm short shifter. I see that they make a application for our cars but I do not really see too much info around for them. Is there anyone using their product? I see alot of B15 guys using them on their forum.

i have no idea how much slop my shifter has when in gear, I shift and then take my hand off the shifter and back to "two o'clock"....
although i guess it could also be good to get a sense of how much slop is in there IF it is an indication of other problems...
I heard about the sycro wear problem when you leave your hand on the shifter years ago. Don't know if there is any truth to that though because I do it all the time an not noticed a single problem with my transmission. I actually have the shifter out of the car now and noticed that it is 3 different peices. Shifter rod, pivot ball, and the pivot ball mount can all be dissasembled....There is a little play between each one....too much by my standards....I want a solid shift sort of like a mazda miata.
