Thread: 99 gxe headlight problem

The high beam light on the dash stays on whether high or low beam, and the switch seems to be backwards. I push it forward for lows and pull it back for highs. I replaced the switch on the column with one from my se-r and it still does it so I know it's not the switch. Any ideas?

maybe your harnes wires is backwards somewhere?

definitely check your wiring, trace it back, you could have a reversed connector wired up somewhere, some kind of funky short on one of the lines.

Did this just start happening, or has it been around for a while?
