i love fl, id glady fly down and be part of the convention plus i could visit family.

ill be looking foward to the next big NE meet weither it be from juns camp or team serious. ny boys know how to get meets going, thats never been a problem for us.

Stratt, a convention is not a one day meet in a parking lot or park. There is a lot more than a group of cars together for a few hours. So I understand why they act they way they do to an extent. We really cannot compare the two. But I do understand what you are saying too. The analogies being used here are not correct. There has to be a vote (I assume) and people have to start "joining" SERCA in other to have a say.

yeah i tried joining serca some time ago, prolly when i first got on the sr20forum, but they werent taking members and from what i hear they still arent.

i do understand it takes alot of planning, but that isnt the problem, im assuming its the polotics keeping it from being held in certain places.

NE convention from what i heard had the best turn out in a long time.

stratton.

These guys dont have truth in their heart. Thats how I feel.

FL does not want a national convention and it is a shame as it was and always been the state with the most SR20 powered cars.

I have to give the NY guys the most credit as I use to stay in NY for Summers and Christmas and it is hard to keep a car there dentless and without rust. People play bumper cars up there for fun.

Orlando is 4 hours.

OK, this is the solution for Florida guys, just do it. Get a committee, do lots of planning and throw your own meet. Don't label it a convention and promote the thing. That simple.

You've said that numerous times, but I'd like to see some tangible evidence to back that up. Do you know someone who works at a DMV in every state? I'm not talking about registered users here on this or the old forum. Our forum isn't an accurate representation of the SE-R community since not every SE-R and SR20 powered car owner is on either of these forums.

I really appreciate that...I think your plan will be the best for everyone.

Most of the SR20owners here dont even come to the forum.

But you can use the forum as a sample of the community. This is standard practice to come up with statistics. So keep you smart man stuff to yourself.
