Thats exactly how it goes.

Who nominates this, the Forum? With 2 states already inline are you looking to do this for 2010?

I read you as saying we want it now, or next year, am I wrong? If so I will be glad to admit it!

I guess i don't get where you guys are coming from..

You did not really read my post did you? I am agreeing with you.
I am watching this thread, and from throwing our own TeamSerious annual meets (did not throw one last year b/c we needed a break) and watching Jun throw his annual meet, I can tell you there is a lot of social planning that goes along with track, show and getting vendors to sponsor a meet. Ours is only one day but takes months of planning, budget crunching, ass kissing (yes, how else do you get companies to sponor a Nissan meet and donate free stuff). How is gonna budget the food? How is gonna get park permits, who is going thru the legal aspect of it, insurance, etc. This is not a day in the park with people admiring each others cars. A convention is something I would never want the resposnbility of hosting. I respect SERCA and what they do. Like it or not, nothing gets done w/o SERCA. Otherwise it is just another Nissan meet.

FLORIDA, I agree you guys deserve a convention. As a matter of fact, no state deserves to have it twice in 10 years. It should be a traveling thing.
Just remember, this is not a 1 day event. It is usually a 3 sometimes 4 day event that takes MUCHO planning. And no one is going to sit in a parking lot 4 days is a row.

Let me edit my profile and you will get a better idea of what I am saying.
I am not saying it needs to happen soon. I just said that Florida deserves a tentative year. With time to plan. In the back of my mind, I keep saying it is not the persona of Florida that keeps guys away or going to a convention, it is the distance. Either way (to or from) it is too long a drive for most there.

I dont care whos feeling I hurt. Where are they now. Where the hell are they now.

I know we are friends but friends can have a serious disscussion on what has happened. Where is all the money.

Serca was made to bring in the money for events and stuff. This is a forum for SR20 cars and we meet here as a group. The SR20 is in a decline now and where is the so called SERCA helping out the community. Understand I dont care if I am thrown to the dogs I want answers to these questions.

Consider this. If you have 10,000 members and say the yearly dues is $10 and 1000 members send in the dues for the year thats $10,000 thats a little more than needed to do a convention a year. Those are the facts

SERCA = USSR = Cuba = N Korea

A few on the top that have made there dessions without the group as a whole in consideration. A complete and utter Totalitarian and Communitic setup.

Just one note, to get SERCA to budge, you must be part of SERCA.
Like any government, if you are a citizen who is registered to vote you are entitled to more rights than someone who is just in the country and not a citizen.

Jah Give I The Powers To Chant.

Me Come To Give The People What They Need And Not What They Want

These Words Are Spiritual Food,

Seat For The Soul It Gives A Positive Mood

Uplifting The Forum With A Right Attitude

Jah Give I The Powers To Lead The Multitude

Lead Them Right, You Know I Will Not Sway Them

I Will Be Upright, I Will Not Betray Them

There was no rights given to the members. Pure monopoly. Do as we say or shut the hell up and send you money. Thats sounds like them with their convention.
