Thread: 2008 Convention

They are the ones that have access to information regarding the legality and what not of the Club. Remember it's not the SR20-Forum club thats run on this forum, it's the SER club of America that is hosting the convention.

Whats funny is the top organizers that I know are from the NE and we have only had it here once. If you count WVA then twice.
I have watched Florida complain for over 10 years now about a convention and maybe it is about time they get one.

Andreas I am sorry that you have such a chip on your shoulder for SERCA. I understand you have reasons of some sort for this, but if you are trying to hold a SERCA national convention this is not the way to do it. If you want to hold a SR20-forum convention then i say go for it.

Again another statement that has nothing to do with anything I have said or whats happening

Where have I said to stop the Vegas or GA convention. You cant find that anywhere. It has been planned and it will be happening this year and next year for GA.

PLEASE, I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND ANYTHING IN YOUR COMMENTS THAT I HAVE SAID. YOU ARE CHANGING THE SUBJECT AND YOU POINTS ARE WAY OFF BASE....


The point still is there has been a full out crap on FL and you guys know it. FL will do there thing you guys keep doing yours.

Somebody needs to talk to the people I mentioned above then and start working on it.

Andreas, as much as I love ya, to talk like that about Kieran and Ray is sacreligious to the SR20 community. They are founding pioneers. See post above. WAAAAY back mailing list guys. I know you knew that, but there are a lot of new guys who don't know that.

Whether or not you like them has nothing to do with it, at this point in time they are the few from those days who have hosted conventions and been on board with SERCA that still care about it and work to help it continue.

Ok, so a good end to this back-and-forth internet crap is to make our own Florida SE-R convention, make it enormous, track day, drag day, meet day, BBQ, and any other type of " day " the SERCA ppl think is appropriate just to prove to us and to them that we have as much if not more of an organization as SERCA.

How about we nominate the moon as the 2011 convention ?

Here is a person who knows whats going on.

These people are telling us to plan for a convention in which there has been no yes that we would be having one. What, we look like idiots or what. Plan for seomthing that aint happening,



Please tell me where I am wrong,

1. A State gets nomnated for a Covention a year or two in advance.
2. Plans are made for the convention and funds are aquired
3. Convention goes down


Someone please tell me where I am going wrong.


We held a Nissan meet with over 300 cars a few years ago and we cant plan for a meet. These people saying this are the arogant ones...


Let me say this again there is no arguement. It is pure BIASED BS.

We dont need one anymore. We will hold our own and match the attendance of the National convention it our state.

And to quote Big B I will meet up with friends I have not seen in a while and hang out with them for a day of car chat and drag racing at Moroso.

You know why they are gone, money is gone and it aint worth it to them.

Keep watching and see who have been around from day one and are still here. Yes the true SER guys who are in it for the love.
