After reading your post, I think I'm gonna go with a full faced clutch.

I'm willing to spend the extra cash on easy engagement (since I get stuck in traffic sometimes).

Hmm, that must mean I have a pretty heavy duty pressure plate in my SR20DE now, since whenever I'm in someone elses car, their pedal is much softer... Hell I even thought something was wrong with my owrn transmission, because I had trouble putting the pedal down :P.

So pedal pressure won't be a big problem then.

I found these on Gspec:

JWT kit (The one BenFenner posted) (400-450 lb/ft)

What looks like an ACT kit (Should hold around 323 lb/ft, according to ACT website)

I guess the first one is the better one?

Not necessarily... the stiff pedal feel is probably from a dirty and old clutch cable. Unless you actually have a aftermarket clutch already installed...

Nah. Anyways, I mentioned it just to say I'm already kinda used to a stiff pedal .

South Bend Clutch
South Bend Clutch - DXD High Performance Clutches
I currently have Stage 3 , easy pedal feel and holding 270whp for past year, going to 350whp by end of summer.

Look thru silvia for options, but call them to order and tell them you have a SR20DET FWD, or they will send you a SR20DET RWD.

I see you're set on the full face (good choice).

I hate to say it, but you can probably get the ACT kit quite a bit cheaper from someone other than Greg. Maybe see if Greg will price match?

Personally I would go with the JWT kit. Their PP is unbelievable and the clutch disc should be great. If it's made by clutch masters, even better. I actually ordered this exact kit for my car but Greg made a mistake and charged me for (and sent me) the lesser "stage 3" JWT kit. I only realized the error after installing it.

It hasn't made a lick of difference for me so far as it has held up exceedingly well. Once I get many more miles on the setup I will be in contact with Greg to update the description to reflect how much it can actually hold. Right now it seems like 240-250 WTQ might be it's limit. However, I've made 303 WHP (well beyond the power rating greg gives it) which is the problem with rating clutches by power...

JWT uses ClutchMaster PP's if I remember correctly. I'm using a FX500 with the 4 puck unsprung disk. I guess it depends on the person. I daily drive my clutch and enjoy it but I'm sure others would not like the very light chatter and instant engagement.

I myself hate overly stiff pedal feel. therefore ACT is out of my book.
