Thread: JDM Sensors?

Im stuck again...my ga16 and avenir coolant temp sensors are exactly the same...but neither of them will fit the plug on the wire harness. I have an sr20de sensor, but I lost it. Any ideas?

And if I were to take the plug from the avenir harness and put it on my usdm harness, will the connection change the values in the signal?

since most all the temp sensors are the same threshold but different connector, you're going to want to match your sensor to the year your harness came from.

Otherwise you can try to connect wiring direct to the sensor, but it's not that easy. I was able to do that simply because i had access to high-temp silicone-coated wiring and potting.
