I spliced into the ignition power wire behind my stereo, because it was easy to get to and identify. Probably not the best way, but it's worked for several years now.

I have my AEM Wideband wired to the cig lighter, and the lights to the center console lights, this way they only come on when you turn the lights on.
I am looking for the main gauge power wire. I am going to use the ring around the cig lighter for the gauge lights.

Yes, you are. But as this is my DD, I'd rather the extra little bit of hassle to be able to hear my radio!
